SERIES 02 Tsuzure | Nishijin Weaving from Shiga

Nishijin-ori jewelry produced in collaboration with Shiga weaver Kiyohara Orimono. SERIES 02 is themed around Lake Biwa, a landscape characteristic of the region. This series of objet-like bangles captures the beauty of the lake's surface, the sky, and the water's reflections, whose colors change from moment to moment, in a tapestry weave. Since ancient times, textiles have been woven by hand with hopes and prayers, and are like talismans. Silver and gold jewelry is also available, featuring patterns that evoke the sparkle and rippling of the water's surface.
