SERIES 02 Tsuzure | Nishijin Weaving from Shiga

Nishijin-ori jewelry produced in collaboration with Shiga weaver Kiyohara Orimono. SERIES 02 is themed around Lake Biwa, a landscape characteristic of the region. This series of objet-like bangles captures the beauty of the lake's surface, the sky, and the water's reflections, whose colors change from moment to moment, in a tapestry weave. Since ancient times, textiles have been woven by hand with hopes and prayers, and are like talismans. Silver and gold jewelry is also available, featuring patterns that evoke the sparkle and rippling of the water's surface.

<Indigo Minamo Bangl>
This bangle features a beautiful natural indigo color, made from silk thread dyed with Awa indigo . The water surface motif is applied in gold thread. The indigo and gold materials match perfectly, creating a simple yet glamorous impression. It is also recommended to wear it layered over your clothes.

<Nishijin Textiles / Kiyohara Textiles>
A weaver from Shiga Prefecture, Kiyohara Textiles has inherited Tsuzureori, a Nishijin weaving technique with a long history. Delicate handcrafted Tsuzureori has been treated as an artistic textile for decorative and ornamental purposes, and has adorned special occasions and stages. We continue to create textiles that are perfect for special occasions, celebrations, and gifts.
